Technogym and World Athletics built a 5 km championship on connected treadmills. Clubs affiliate; runners log certified trials on compatible Artis / Excite / Skillrun machines; leaderboards sit in the Technogym Digital Ecosystem. That is a format, not a limited-edition bench.
Qualifications run October 2026 through January 2027. Regionals follow from January. The first world final is 20–21 March 2027 at Technogym Village, Cesena. No consumer SKU to preorder — the CTA is the official programme page.
